Literature Text

I have a loose control on everything around me-
I can keep myself from speaking, I can save myself from drowning.
When I need to have an answer for a certain kind of question
There is always someone willing, with a small dose of aggression.

The winds obey my each command,
                       A fact some find astounding.
The lion and sheep eat from my hand
             With fillies and colts abounding.

I own each tiny mole, and all the earth besides-
I see what is becoming, I see what has come by.
When I have a need for something that is easy to obtain
There's easily a barter, for all wish to remain.

The trees are bowed with every step,
                    A greater one there's not.
The waters reach and the stones have lept
             With creatures willingly caught.

Yet in this world I rule, and in the next one too-
I cannot find your weakness; not one inside of you.
When I try to forget you I think about you more
Why is it that the strength in you shakes me to the core?
#32 in my 100 themes challenge- "Strength"

This poem is slightly odd. Not my usual type of writing. I was trying to convey a theme of true strength, something deep inside.
Like the character in the poem, some people have strength over many things. Maybe not the physical, such as animals and weather and people, but some have strength over their emotions. They can get others to break down by knowing weaknesses.
I wanted to show how it is possible for someone to be shaken, changed, by simply not having control.

I don't know how to explain... But I hope you understand and enjoy.

I understood after reading the description. Now that I understand what you're trying to convey, I think this one of the most beautiful poems you've written that I've read (: (Of course, I haven't been able to read all of yours. But out of the ones I have read).
